This book purse is made from the classic The Scarlet Letter by Nathanial Hawthorne.

The cover is embellished with Swarovski Crystals. The interior lining is a red velvet with stamped embossed "A"s.

The handles are hand beaded with Swarovski Crystals, Swarovski Pears, and Black Onyx. The fittings are all Sterling Silver.

The closure is made of Swarovski Crystals and a black chic button.

The book stores on a bookcase and looks like any other book on your shelf.

There is a very narrow pocket inside perfect for credit card or driver’s license.

The dimensions are approximately 9.25"long, 1.25" wide, 6.25" tall, and the handles are 12” long.

The SmartGirl Purse was a book first so it does require some care. The spine has been reinforced, the corners are covered with Tim Holtz metal decorative corners for added stability. Great care has been made to the construction of all SmartGirl Purses.

Most SmartGirl Purses are made to order so please allow for 2-3 weeks to ship. Because most of the books are used so there might be some variations and some slight blemishes on the covers. I only select books that will make lovely SmartGirl Purses so imperfections are limited.
