The cover is embellished with Swarovski crystals and Tim Holtz metal corners. The sparkle makes it perfect for evening and yet fun for day. The handles are hand beaded with red acrylic and black wood beads on a gold tone metal frame to coordinate with the fabric. The fabric is_red, black and gold to match, not only the color but the feel of the book. The purse closes with red decorative button and gold elastic cord.

The book stores on a bookcase and looks like any other book on your shelf. But you will not want to store this beautiful accessory…you will want to wear it.

There is a very narrow pocket inside perfect for credit card or driver’s license.

The dimensions are approximately 9.5"long, 3" wide, 6" tall, and the handles are 6" wide by 4" tall.

Remember the SmartGirl Purse was first a book so it requires special care. You would not let your favorite book get wet. The spine has been reinforced; the corners are covered with Tim Holtz metal decorative corners for added stability and all embellishments are adhered with E-600 so they should not come off. Great care is always taken in the construction of all SmartGirl Purses. They take approximately 8 hours to make. Only the finest materials are used. Most of the books are used so there might be some variations and some slight blemishes on the covers.

Most SmartGirl Purses are made to order so please allow for 2-3 weeks to ship. There can be some variations from the pictures due to availability of the materials used.
